Dana Kirchmar, VP and General Manager, Ulterius Aviation.
Dana has extensive experience in Aviation and Aerospace, working for companies ranging from entrepreneurial startups such as Gogo and Aviation Technology Group to Fortune 500 corporations such as Boeing (Jeppesen), Honeywell, and Lockheed Martin. Prior to joining Ulterius, Dana was the Senior Director of Customer Operations at Gogo Business Aviation, engineering and leading the team of solution architects who conceptualized, developed, and integrated the products that revolutionized the game-changing service of in-air connectivity. Dana holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University.
Dave Helderop, Director of Programs, Ulterius Aviation
Dave has over 35 years of experience in the aerospace industry as a consultant, project manager, and executive in business development. With a background in aeronautical engineering, Dave has played a pivotal role in start-up businesses, mid-sized corporations, and airplane programs. He has a BSE from Western Michigan in Aeronautical Engineering.
Jeff Turner, CEO and Managing Investor, Ulterius Technologies
Jeff Turner was CEO of Spirit AeroSystems (NYSE:SPR) for 17 years and led the launch out of Boeing. Spirit has a $6B market cap and employs around 12,000 people. Jeff is a member of the board of directors for Rockwell Collins and Intrust Bank. Jeff was selected as a Boeing Sloan Fellow to MIT’s Sloan School of Management, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Management. He also holds a BS in Computer Science from Wichita State University.
Mike Williams, COO and Managing Investor, Ulterius Technologies
Mike was the co-founder of Spirit AeroSystems and Senior VP of Corporate Development. He navigated through the IPO process when Boeing moved from a private company to publically-traded Spirit raising $2B with top investors. He holds a BS in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Oklahoma State University.
Alex Cavgalar, Chief Technology Officer, Ulterius Technologies
Alex was one of the three inventors and a current co-founder of Ulterius Technologies. He is an alumnus of the Bell Labs Concept Development Research Center and a Distinguished Member of Technical Service at Alcatel-Lucent. In May 2013, the White House recognized Alex as a “Champion of Change” as a first generation immigration technical entrepreneur. He holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University.
